A downloadable game for Windows

You must escape. You have to. There is no other way.

Runaway is a story-based game with casual minigames that appear throughout the game. Your choices and successes in minigames will impact the fate of your character.

Gameplay features:
| Volition system — basically a player's health. Some anwsers and failed minigames lead to losing volition points. [Planned feature: 'gave up' screen (game over) when all volition points are lost]
| Minigames — casual minigames to make the story more interactive.
| Branching story with different outcomes. [work-in-progress]

Controls:
[ Left Mouse Button ] — display next line / make a choice
[ Space ] — minigame interaction
[ Esc ] — quit game

Important notes:
| I'm not a native English speaker, so there might be some grammar errors/weird sentences/etc.
| This game is unfinished and is still in development. If you're interested in the full story, please wait for the final release~
| The game is a bit creepy and also includes descriptions of mild injuries. Nothing too graphic, but I'm putting up this warning just in case.
| The game is for Windows OS.
| Made in Unreal Engine 4 (4.27.2)

Upon using the exe, an Unreal Engine tab appears along with a SteamVR tab. Is this a VR game?

no... maybe i messed up the packaging?
is the game working properly? i tested it on my pc, and everything seemed normal.

My only guess is that I have SteamVR installed, and maybe for some reason that's causing a collision somewhere? This is one of the weirder bugs I've seen.
